Dorados Privacy Policy

What information do we collect?

When you register a Dorados account, we collect identifying information needed to open and operate the account: name, date of birth, residential address, email, phone number, chosen username and password. We collect optional payment details if you choose to purchase a Gold Coin package, and we collect identification documents when we verify your identity before processing a Sweeps Coin redemption.

We also collect usage information automatically as you browse and play: IP address, device type, browser, pages visited, games launched, coins wagered, win and loss amounts. This information supports fraud prevention, sweepstakes compliance, responsible play monitoring and the personalisation of the lobby.

How do we use your information?

Personal data is used to operate your account, process any optional Gold Coin purchases, run the games you choose, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, send transactional emails (such as redemption confirmations and security alerts) and tailor promotional content where you have opted in.

Marketing emails are opt-in. You can unsubscribe from any marketing message with a single click in the email footer, or by toggling marketing preferences in your account settings.

Who do we share your information with?

We share data with payment processors for any optional Gold Coin packages, with KYC providers to verify identity for redemptions, with game studios to deliver the games you launch, and with regulators when they exercise their right to information. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Your Canadian PIPEDA rights

You can request a copy of all the personal data we hold about you (the right of access). You can ask us to correct inaccurate data or delete it altogether where we are no longer legally required to retain it. You can object to our use of your data for direct marketing at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@dorados.live with your username and the request. We respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

How do we keep your data secure?

All web traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.3. Passwords are stored as salted hashes and never in plain text. Payment card details are tokenised through PCI DSS Level 1 processors so we never see or store full card numbers. Database access is restricted to a small number of named staff and every query is logged.
